Another trip to the Lake District for a wild camp at Small Water, a small tarn near Haweswater.
We climbed up to the summit of Harter Fell (778m above sea-level) before dropping down to Small Water where we pitched the tent. There was still some snow around on the tops but it had pretty much all gone as we got a little lower.
Once again we had the place to ourselves apart from a few day-hikers that we passed on the tops. What fabulous views we had from the summit of Harter Fell, probably the best so far of all the wild camps.
