A short hike from Loch Trool to the more remote Loch Valley for an overnighter on the way back from a visit to Glasgow.
That was the plan anyway. Unfortunately as the car park that we intended using was closed we had to park quite a distance back from our planned start point. This meant that we had further to walk and so we got to Loch Valley much later than anticipated. Given that it was still winter it was already getting dark by the time we found a pitch site.
Some beautiful scenery in this area and we spotted what looked like eagles(?) and a few mountain goats.
The video link below will load a short video showing a 3D fly-through of the route in a new window/tab
