A short hike to the summit of Great Whernside (704m above sea-level) near Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales.
This was a very windy day and very boggy in places and oh boy was it steep! I was almost out of breath by the time we reached the top, but I still did better than my human who lagged behind for most of the way (as usual).
This was another of those occasions where you don't see anyone for ages and then just as you get to the trig point... they appear as if from nowhere. It didn't bother me however my human didn't seem too impressed. The fabulous views from the summit made up for it though.
