#016: Embsay Moor

Well, what an adventure!

This was a massively long hike with lots of cool things; there was a weird face carved into a rock, two trig points to bag, a huge cross on a hillside ( the Rylstone Cross), some massive rocks to play on, some sheep to stare at, the Cracoe War Memorial obelisk - a huge memorial to soldiers who died during the two World Wars and then a wild, wet and windy night to get through.

My human was quite concerned that the tent might blow away with us still inside it. I told him not to be so dramatic... or would have done if I could talk.

On the way back to the car the following morning I nearly got dog-napped by some buzzards that followed me for ages and swooped down at me a few times. Scary, but exciting too!

What an awesome wild camp this was!
