Our second trip to the Lake District and just a short walk to our pitch site this time. It was mostly uphill though so a bit of effort was required... from my human anyway. It was a breeze for me, I spent most of the walk waiting for the unfit one to catch up!
We had the tarn to ourselves, not another soul around during our entire stay - unsurprising really as it was a bit on the chilly side and pretty windy too, especially overnight but the new, new tent performed superbly and we were in no danger of having to bail.
It was all good fun though over much too quickly as overnighters always are. We have some longer trips lined up for next year which I'm really looking forward to.
