An over-nighter on top of Parson's Pulpit a few miles from Malham Tarn. It was a short walk but the weather was great. On the way back we took a short detour to check out the Rocking Stone, very exciting... or so I was told! Looked just like a couple of big rocks to me.
I've just completed a 10-mile linear walk from Thornton to Haworth taking in the Brontë Stones along the way. The Brontë Stones are a group of stones placed in the landscape between the birthplace of the Brontë family in Thornton near Bradford and the parsonage in Haworth.
Another over-nighter on top of a hill a few miles from Malham Tarn. A cold, dry night with not a cloud in the sky. We did some star-gazing and spotted 21 satellites passing overhead and a shooting star!
Another over-nighter in the Malham area, this time on top of a hill a few miles outside of Malham village. Great weather on the way there but a little different later in the day and the following morning.
Another trip to Fountains Fell, this time Ray Man came along. Unfortunately we didn't quite make it to Fountains Fell tarn but we will get there another time.
