Arncliffe Circular – Wild Camp #011

A nice long hike saw us take a circular route from Malham Tarn and passing through Arncliffe before heading back for a wild camp.

After having a short rest along the way my human managed to "lose" my lead so we backtracked for about a mile looking for it - we didn't spot it and he decided someone must have picked it up. We called off the search and headed back to our previous rest spot where, after taking off his backpack, found that the lead was in fact attached to it! Honestly, I ask you. Sigh.

Later, very shortly after pitching the tent near to the rocking stone featured in a previous wild camp (Parson's Pulpit), the field we were in was invaded by free-ranging cows. My human was worried that they might attack us during the night and so we had to quickly break camp and find somewhere else to pitch up.

What a day!
